Over four weeks, you will听connect with Careers team members, industry representatives and听fellow students to enhance your career confidence.听
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who attend at least three sessions of the听program. The certificate can听be used as one听supplementary activity towards the听Employability Award.听

Program outline:听
- Session 1:听Professional Identity and professional branding. Create your unique value proposition. Develop your resume for an opportunity to be reviewed by industry representatives.
- Session 2: Career progression and experienced applications.听Understand the employer's expectations for an application of an experienced applicant and have your resume reviewed by an industry representative.听
- Session 3:听Ventia and Transurban will facilitate a听'One-Hour Internship', where you can engage in a hands-on problem-solving activity. This opportunity allows you to develop essential skills, make valuable connections, and enjoy a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
- Session 4: Articulate your value, capabilities, and experience in a mock interview setting with industry representatives.
Note:听This program is capped to a limited number of participants. Therefore, please ensure that you can commit to and attend every program session before you sign up.听

About Career Development Programs
Our Career Development Programs are听 designed to give you the support and guidance you need to feel confident in planning your career.
Careers 101 Program
A 4 week program will be offered听in Semester 1, 2025 open to all students to help to get started in their听career journey.听 The program seeks to support students to:
- Understand who they are as a professional听and identify career pathway opportunities
- Learn about the job application process听and how to effectively reflect on and articulate learning from experiences
听
Career Advancement Program
A more advanced program delivered over 4 weeks which seeks to support students to:
- Develop their career plan and strategies
- Enhance student capabilities and confidence in articulating their unique value proposition to prospective employers
This program will be offered in Semester 2, 2025 on the St Lucia Campus.听More details to come!

For Career Development Programs students are no longer required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and are welcome to book directly into the program.听
