1. Transcript and credit transfer

You should keep your original transcript in case you need evidence of your overseas study when applying for future study, scholarships聽or employment.聽

Host university transcript

Upon return from your global experience, if you have applied for credit, you must submit a copy of your official host university transcript through your Short-term application workflow to allow for credit transfer to be completed.

Most host universities will send your academic transcript directly after you have completed your exchange. The transcript will list the courses you completed and the grades achieved. Some host universities may require you to order your transcript yourself, so you should confirm the process with your host university鈥檚 International Office before returning to UQ.

Credit transfer

颁丑别肠办听聽to ensure that your credit has been transferred. If you have any questions about your credit transfer, please聽contact your faculty.

If you would like to receive credit for courses that had not been pre-approved by your faculty, you may need to provide copies of:

  • correspondence between you and your school or faculty regarding approval of courses.
  • syllabi, reading list and assessment聽for the courses you have taken.

The grades you receive on your short-term experience are not transferred to your UQ transcript, so your UQ GPA will remain the same after transferring credit. Your results and transcript from your host university may be considered when applying for future study, scholarships or employment.

Going on a short-term experience in your final semester may delay your graduation date.聽
